How to build an outrageously great Dental Practice Profile page!
The key to a successful 1stDDS.com dental marketing program is how well you present yourself and your practice to the consumer who is trying to make a final choice between you and any number of other dentists in the directory for your geographic market. The consumer’s decision process is channeled in a very specific way to get you the best possible high-value new patient lead. Let’s start with the consumer’s request for a doctor.
Step-1 We make it as easy as possible for the consumer to find a dentist - a specific type of dentist. We start by asking them three easy “qualifying questions”: first name, email address and zip code. If the consumer doesn’t want to give us this minimal information, it is not likely they are truly serious candidates for dentistry.
Step-2 Using their zip code information, we automatically search our listings and report back whether or not we have doctor(s) available in their area.
Step-3 Next we ask them to complete a detailed personal information form. Once again, we are trying to screen the potential patient.
We do this so you only get the most highly-qualified and valid requests. We don’t want to waste your time or your team’s time, trying to follow-up with people who are just “surfing” the net and are not serious about wanting an appointment.
Step-4 As you can see from the sample Search Results, those doctors with photos attached to their listing; naturally jump out of the results. By clicking on the photo, the practice name, or the “More Info” button, the consumer is directed to the individual doctor and practice profile.
Further, the Premium Listings are automatically rotated through the top positions. This gives them a major advantage when it comes time for your potential dental patient to make a decision on which doctor to choose.
The two most important issues are positioning your listing in the top half of the front page and a good photo or logo.
Your initial practice profile will be built for you by your IDA Consultant from the data you provided in your first Customization Appointment. This Profile is going to be viewed by dental consumers who can now obtain complete information on your “Credentials”, “Benefits”, “Office Hours”, “Credit Cards” accepted, “Promotional Offers” and most important, your “Photo”.
Your Campaign Consultant will give you your 1stDDS.com account name and password at the beginning of your second Customization Appointment. In the future, you can verify and adjust your own Practice Profile, online, and in minutes. Just go to 1stDDS.com, entering your account name & password, then go to the “Add/Edit Offices” heading and “Office Information” section.
Review your Office Information Tab carefully.
1. Check your Geographical Locator Information.
2. If you are a specialist and ONLY accept specialty patients, make sure you mark the “Practice Limited to” field appropriately.
3. Verify your Phone Number to make sure patients trying to call you are connected directly to your scheduling coordinator.
4. Verify your FAX Number to make sure you will receive your New Patient Alerts. Leave your fax machine on overnight and on weekends so you don’t miss new patients.
5. Check your Email Address to make sure it is current. Is this address checked at least twice a day?
